Nuances and pitfalls
Two meanings at the office. Here, le rendu is an image. In « le rendu du concours », it is the hand-in of documents: see rendu (livrable).
False friend (UK). In British English, render also means a façade plaster coat, in French enduit, not an image.
Not a technical drawing. A rendering is a realistic image (materials, light); a plan or a section is a technical drawing.
